Bratwurst: is a type of German sausage made from pork and chicken. The name is derived from the Old High German Bratwurst, from brat-, finely chopped meat, and Wurst, sausage, lightly smoked and has a mildly spicy flavor profile. Made with pork, coarsely ground with spices in a natural casing – great on the BBQ – Eat with mashed potato and vegetables or a salad or even on their own cut into pieces and shared as pica pica.
